Manual Stocktakes: A test of will and endurance

Try counting a whole shop full of products by hand, that includes writing down every single barcode, and price, then manually entering in to excel. Around 2,000 lines of data.

Now imagine your cat decides to walk across your keyboard while you go and get a cup of coffee at 04:00.

Now imagine that the cat managed to put its paws on Alt and F4.

And, now imagine that you hadn't been saving, because you were so focused on the job.

And, now imagine a cat running for its furry little life.

Imagine even further, the return of the furry little cat one hour later, as if all was fine.

And finally, see the cat jump on to the keyboard again, hitting not Alt and F4, but CTRL, W and ENTER.

Go you good things!

Go you good things, brilliant 5-0 defeat of Luna Rossa by Emirates Team New Zealand, this means we have one the Louis Vuitton Cup and now have the right to challenge the current America's Cup holders, Alinghi. If this is won by Emirates Team New Zealand, I have just guaranteed myself one primo year of sales for my organisation.

Nice Shit. Wish I could have been there but I was on Open Shift...
