I am 33 today. Old by many standards - but benchmarked toward those older than myself. Here are the highlights of my life...
- I spent 2/33rds of my life working for a fool
- I spent 4/33rds of my life involved with out-rigging and dragon boating and loved it
- I spent just 0.5/33rds of my life in the United States of America
- I have spent (1/365th)/(33X365) days of my life in Australia
- I had a radio show for 5/33rds of my life and loved it
- I have studied in tertiary institutions for 4/33rds of my life
- For 1/33rd of my life I worked for a kick arse company
- I got sick of that company 1/66th of my life through that 1/33rd of my life
- I have one thousand times more cd's than years that I have been alive
- I spent 1/11th of my life being a well established member of the chemical generation
- I have borne witness to the transition from LP to Tape to CD to MD to Mp3 to Digital Formats in my 33 years, as well as Movie Theater to VHS/Beta to DVD to Video CD to Super Video CD to .avi and mpeg to HD
- I've seen Stephen King novels turned to movies that still just keep going and never stop when they should
- I've spent 33/33 of my life learning
- It took 20/33rds of my life to find a style of music that I cannot shake
- I've had three sets of teeth
- I worked for an awesome boss for 1/33rd of my life
- It's been humorous at times and pretty much all good.
