So I am back at work this week. Three weeks have flittered past like a flittering past little birdie, and I think to myself (Not what a wonderful world) going back to work is going to suck round ones.
Yes.
Round ones.
Anyways - I'm sure that the list of shit I left others to do hasn't been done (I am an effective manager - I inspire others) actually I was told that the person I gave the tasks to lost them (I carefully plan every step in my daily management life - I always have a contingency plan) and given that we have a reasonably important event coming up - I'm kind of guessing that returning to work is going to be like a surprise contestant on the "Surprise! Today is the first day in the rest of your career as an... anal toy tester SHOW!!!!!".
Wicked.
Any-ha-ways
I believe that the careful art of integrating myself back in to a largely unknown but "prob-ab-fuckingly" likely chaotic workplace situation is to at least follow some of the following, as follows:
1. Know - that compared to everyone else working I am relaxed and not yet showing signs of is it time to go yetness.
2. Keep it cool - locked in
3. Make quick decisive decisions when faced with a problem, so as to protect myself against psychic vampires.
4. Know that compared to my time off when I had jack shit to do and time went fast, that now I am back at work time will go faster.
5. Pretend that nothing has changed and focus on the important
6. Ave it red at the end of the day.
Peace.
